Born and raised in the Philippines, chef Elvira first studied at a culinary school in Cebu. After successfully completing the corces, she commenced work running her own kitchen and staff at House of IT. Due to the passion and support of the management and staff, Elvira progressed her culinary arts in Chang Mai Thailand.
During this visit to Thailand, her skills were honed with traditional authentic Thai cooking. Elvira has always stayed true to her belief that fresh ingredients are key to tasty and authentic Thai cuisine.

Chef Elvie makes all the curry paste from scratch, all herbs and spices are shipped from Thailand 🇹🇭 The staff is very attentive and the place has a good ambiance. They also have a big parking area. I must say Thai Basil feels like you are in Thailand. She also does fresh crabs every Friday just order in advance because it sells out fast, not to mention at a very decent price! In fact, all of the dishes are very Affordable. Thanks for bringing Thailand to Panglao Chef!
